BK “Liepāja” defeats “VEF Rīga” basketball players at the start of the Latvian-Estonian league season
“Liepāja” won the victory over last season’s champion team “VEF Rīga” in the first match of the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League (LIBL) season on Friday. “Liepāja” won at home with the result 98:93 over “VEF Rīga”. |

AVIS UTILITAS Rapla and Ricards Daniels Vanags shook hands for the upcoming season
09/08/2021 The Rapla basketball team announced that it has shaken hands with 18-year-old Latvian Ricardsd Daniels Vanags for the beginning of the season. The 18-year-old 202 cm tall player, who was part of the Latvian U19 youth team this summer, was the best scorer of his team at the FIBA World Cup in Latvia, average of 11.1 points per game.
